I believe that our bodies are meant to be extensions of ourselves. I come from a background in wrestling and freerunning where I used my body to explore and define who I was as a person. Since then, I’ve gotten involved in obstacle course races, endurance challenges, rock climbing, and a host of other activities. My training focuses on preparing for what life might throw at you. Whether that’s sprinting up stairs so you don’t miss your flight, helping a family member move into their new place, or a pickup game of basketball, I believe in a useful type of fitness.

I’ve been involved in fitness for eleven years and professionally training others for seven. Everyday I make it my goal to better myself and grow as a trainer just as I ask my clients to better themselves and move toward their goals every day.

I started boxing at the age of 16 and love coaching just as much training myself. Boxing is the perfect balance of aerobic and anaerobic exercise that never gets boring – there is always room for improvement! I will strive to inspire you to find the importance of being active, to find happiness in challenging yourself to try new things and to be amazed at what you can accomplish, both physically and emotionally.

Along with boxing, I understand the vital importance of strength training and am a NASM certified personal trainer.  I’m also a lover of the great outdoors, so when I can’t be reached, I’m probably trail running in the forest or camping and hiking with my family.
